For those who follow Major League Baseball, the only number that matters is now 8. It's early Tuesday morning, August 28th, and while my daughter will be registering for 7th grade in the morning, the real reason I can't sleep is that the number is now 8.

Oh, and Mom, did you read what Sully wrote to you, here?
