As I see the evidence for deflation start to emerge, I am led to ask: Did the public conversation between The Fed and Congress lend a hand in lowering prices? If that is true, I wonder if there was a way for the administration to handle this in a stealthy manner, the way the CIA handled Allende? Would that have been the better road for our nation?
