Noe's birthday and subsequent slumber party kept me hopping. But Sunday morning came and the girls hadn't had a lick of drama, so silver lining.
The Sox swept the World Series, which made Sunday that much better.
Today starts my road back to a normal life. Cleaning, laundry, maybe a little exercise.
Also, while there are still fires burning, the air around her has become nice again - we're back to soft ocean breezes and 50% humidity. My nose feels better.
Lastly, here's my classical music recommendation for the week: Stravinsky's "Pulcinella." Yes, it's opera. Yes, it's ballet. Hang in there, it's worth it, the melodies are significant.
