Anyone have any recommendations for comics I should look for (or non-comics)?

I think we both already discussed the Frank Miller "Daredevil" series, right? The run of Fantastic Four by John Byrne has always been one of my faves. I think you're looking at issues in the #220 to #250 range? And, a personal favorite: Iron Man 149 & 150. Bob Layton, fantastic color pallette, and anything with Dr. Doom in it is hard not to like.
That's a good wife.
I went to the Atlanta one with my girlfriend. It was pretty radical, minus the fact that no one would really help me find anything.
Sully,
Yes, we talked about DD. My fave, for those who are reading this, is the Born Again series of Frank Miller's Daredevil.
As for the rest, I will put them on my list. I used to love the Fantastic Four as well as Iron Man. I am familiar with Dr. Doom, but never followed him completely. I love the thought of finding unread Dr. Doom's.
I'll also be looking at picking up the rest of "Y: The Last Man," which is a comic book that, so far, has renewed my faith in comic books. The writing, by Brian K. Vaughan, is astonishing, clear, tight, and non-trite. The artwork, done by the co-creator, Pia Guerra, is perfect - not too comic-booky, not too oddball.
Johnny C,
I agree, a good wife, a great wife.
Do you have any recommendations for comics/ect. that I should be looking for?
