ParentHacks.com held a poll where folks were given a chance to vote on their favorite hack for parents from 2006... Um, well, gosh, it seems that one of my hacks earned first place! How awesomely cool!! Here's the hack as it appears on my blog, fleshed out a little bit.

Congratulations, Stu! You deserve to win something, just for being such a nice fellow!
Hey, thanks Sully, what a cool thing to say. (Are you comfortable enough in your heterosexuality for me to say that it was a *sweet* thing to say?... 'cause it was! )
I'm not big on winning, as I'm a journey guy, not a destination guy, but this was different, because I believe, deep in my heart, that quality parenting will lead to world peace. (I know, I'm such a hippie)
Thanks Sully, sincerely.
Mr. Fabulous,
HA! You're funny, for reals!
Congrats, Stu! And sure enough, that's a fantastic tip. I think I'll always remember it--and you--from now on. Happy new year to all of you.
Mom101,
Coming from you, that compliment carries extra weight. I dig your blog so very much, which, for readers of this comment, can be found here: http://mom-101.blogspot.com/
Congratulations! But again, just a grain of wisdom from such an indubitable deluge of sapience.
Thanks. I've never been called sapient before. I find myself barely sentient most of the time, so I appreciate the compliment. Thanks for reading!
Thanks for taking the time and sharing your thoughts.
You're welcome. That's what blogs are for. :-)
