Wow. Noelle is ELEVEN!
It was a wonderful time. We started the birthday celebration Thursday morning, where Noelle woke to a room filled with balloons and a big stuffed tiger. She then spent the evening with her dad and brother. Then Friday evening with us, opening the first half of the presents. Saturday morning arrived, as did her birthday party guests. Leslie and I and four very excited girls went to the Westside Pavilion, for a shopping spree at Build-A-Bear. Then back home for a soccer match, followed by an evening's sleepover at The Belamar Hotel. Cake, room service, swimming, and then more presents. Sunday, after the girls went home, Noe slept for a bit, then had dinner and a birthday pumpkin pie, and the last of the presents. Whew!
Let me talk a bit about Noelle:
She's amazing, truly. She's incredibly bright, quick-witted, joyous, well-spoken, articulate, confident, friendly, caring, responsible, supportive, empathetic, studious, creative, and contemplative. I am proud of her, proud to know her. More importantly, I am lucky that she is in my life.

Wow Stu - that's pretty amazing! How lucky your daughter is to have such a wonderful dad :)
Sounds like she had a pretty unforgettable birthday. It's so nice to hear stories like this about fathers truly enjoying their children.
Happy Birthday (a little late) Noelle!
Happy 11th, Noelle!
