So there's a new recording of The Star Spangled Banner and people are unhappy about it. I'm not sure why. I mean, I hear what they are saying, but it doesn't resonate with me. Isn't America an ideal of Freedom? Aren't we taught that living in America is about celebrating freedom, freedom of expression, freedom of speech? Why are flags and anthems held above that? That's like saying Santa Claus shouldn't get a present for Christmas.
I plan on supporting the new record, and I'll be giving it to my kids, as soon as I can find a copy. Is it on iTunes? ::pause:: Not yet. Well, I'll keep looking. Meanwhile, let's see if we can't keep our eyes on the prize. Thank you both for reading.

Sully, you're One. I'm hoping The Other will comment as well. Hey, I had my 1,000th hit this morning, since I opened her up at the end of January.
--channels Bill Murray's Carl Spackler-- "So I got that goin' for me, which is nice."
I THINK THE KEY IS TO BECOME AN AMERICAN. WE SHOULD LEARN THE LANGUAGE.
WE SHOULD ALSO KEEP UP OUR OLD TRADITINS
