Yes, the pun was intended. The weather here is both concerning and glorious. I am sad for my great-great-grandkids, as there will probably be some weather issues in their lives. But I am so happy for my kids and wife and me, as the winter here in Redondo Beach is just fantastic. It was in the mid-80s yesterday and today will be about as warm. I am going to the beach today (about 2.3 miles by foot, about 2 miles by crow) and say hello to the ocean for my sister.
I'll also stop by a certain jewelry store and bug a certain jeweler about the repairs that I've been waiting on for such a long time that I won't tell you exactly how long because I don't want to embarrass the guy. He's great, and I still point people his way, but he keeps forgetting to work on these two repairs we have. Just so you know how much we love this guy and why we haven't freaked out about the lateness of the repairs (folks, it has been years, I kid you not), he designed our wedding rings, basing them on his father's wedding ring. Truly, we will always have a soft-spot for this guy, he's a mensch, just forgetful.
Ok, this was supposed to be about global warming. Yes, it is bad. But for now, I'm going to fiddle. Dig.
