A lesser-known gem from Grant Green, "Nigeria" was released in 1980, though recorded almost 20 years previous. Featuring Sonny Clark on piano, Sam Jones on bass, and the great Art Blakey on drums, this brilliant session was recorded at the revered Van Gelder Studio, in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. So, y'know, there's that.
