Nice, catch anything? My folks have been out fishing a lot on weekends and it looks like the picking have been pretty slim lately. They mostly go to Cachuma and Castaic though.

I eat what's already dead, but I won't do the killin'. So I don't kill a bug, let alone a fish or anything else.
Having said that, fishing looks like it would be perfect for me.
Ohhhh yeah, I knew that. Sigh, I'm much too young to be this forgetful. But yes, given my family's luck with their fishing endeavors it might just work out for you :-D

I used my Lumix DMC-FZ5, which is now not as cool as your current camera, the Lumix DMC-FZ7 (I think)... anyway, the reason that these are both great cameras is, in part, due to the Leica lens, which is excellent quality.
To anyone who isn't hip to the Lumix line, check 'em out, they are some of the best digital cameras on the market for the under-$1K crowd.
And, um, Mom, when will you start a blog to share your photos and stories? :-)
