Radio is not dead, it's just moved to the Internet. I am a huge fan of SomaFM, a web-based radio alternative, which produces 10 different commercial-free quality streams of electronica (ambient, trance, industrial, etc)... Fantastic programming, very sincere in attempting to connect with the listener, to provide a thoroughly enjoyable listen. They provide multiple formatted streams and comprehensive song histories. I am a supporter (and have the t-shirt to prove it), but I have no firmer a connection to SomaFM. I'm just a big fan. ("Hey, SomaFM, big fan, big fan!")
