Today is my birthday, and I am a little concerned that I am typing like Doogie Howser. Still, it's my birthday, so I'm allowed.

I got all amazing presents, so Thanks to everyone. Really and for true. Life is good.

I'd list all the cool presents, but that would be boring. Instead, let me share with you the story of the Treasure Hunt.

My wife and kidlets organized a treasure hunt through the house. I was given a card containing a clue, and the clue led me to a new card containing a new clue. Much wonderfulness, I declare. Clues were clever, sometimes poems, and each card was a glory, either sweet or fart-related. My family knows that my funny bone is near my heart.

I would like it if you would, at the end of this sentence, take a moment and think of the people who love you, and then admit that they are pretty smart, so whatever they see in you must be pretty legitimate.

Now take a moment and think of yourself and what it would be like to have an exact duplicate of you, so that you could give yourself a hug. Imagination is a fantastic tool for healing our ills.
