As you may or may not know, I recently purchased a pair of Avlar Prodigy loudspeakers. They are now plugged into the Rotel RX-1052 and I can't imagine being happier.
The RX-1052 is a tri-fold unit, featuring a tuner for AM/FM, a 2-channel amplifier, and a front end to manage audio inputs and outputs. Right this second I just have the Denon DCM-380 CD player hooked up, but the antenna will come next, and then the RCA-to-mini stereo, for listening to an iBook or iPod.
