What happened tonight? I'm not sure. I know that I'm afraid to jinx it, but to not talk about it would seem foolish.

Marty, Mark, and I went into the garage, plugged in, and created some fantastic music. It was a complete surprise for all of us, and we all understood that we had captured lightning in a bottle. Fortunately I was able to bring one of the laptops out to the garage and record a chunk of what we were doing into GarageBand. Now I'm sitting here in the library with Marty and Mark, listening to the mp3s of this session. Amazing stuff, really.

Words fail to express how important this was to me, even if it's just a one-time affair. We created Art in the garage and I am stoked. One of the best birthday presents I can recall.

I hope we do this again.

We've named the trio Falling Through Chlorella. I love the name. Thanks, Marty.

Oh, I'll find a way to post at least one of the mp3s from this impromptu jam session. When you hear it, be extra impressed that Mark has only been playing the guitar for about a week. Double Dig.
