So, this is me, Stu, telling you, family and friends, how I feel at the moment.
Essentially, everything is better than anything I'd ever hoped for.
The kids are magnificent, beautiful creatures, full of mystery, energy, excitement, and a touch of mischief. They make every day a glorious time to be alive. Both are doing very, very well in school. They take it seriously and do their best, even when they are bored.
Noelle is spending her non-study time with M and S, two very good friends. They both live in the neighborhood and so we see them quite a bit at our house. Noelle also watches Disney Channel, especially Raven, Zach and Cody, Zoe, and whatever Disney original film they are promoting at the time. Now they have on "High School Musical". Noelle and her friends love it and sing along with dreams in their hearts.
Nich is playing soccer and basketball, as well as skating and listening to music and Harry Potter books. He is also watching a lot of the Fuel Network, which is inspiring for him. Nich has recently discovered cooking, as he had a very positive experience researching and preparing a recipe for salsa for Spanish class. He really enjoyed it, and was very thorough, even through the cleaning process.
Leslie is hard at work. There isn't a lot I can talk about with regard to her job, as almost all of it is non-disclosure binding. I can report that she is very happy and very pleased with her performance. She seems to really be helping people on varied levels and she is glad for that. She also isn't ever satisfied with her performance, so she is constantly talking about ways to improve. She's my gem, so what am I supposed to say? :-)
Me, I'm staying busy. The kids keep me jumping, and keeping the house clean enough for Leslie to find tolerable is enough of a day job. Then there's painting and writing and reading and learning.
When I take time to reflect on my life, I find myself utterly satisfied. I want for nothing. No offense to those who are unhappy, it's just that I'm not.
I wish you all peace and love, home and health, fruit and vegetables.
