The regular readers of this blog will note the recent slowdown in activity. As I've been getting up to speed over at GNMParents, I've been slightly neglectful over here. That will change soon, because I'm almost at the other side of the learning curve of editing/publishing at GNMP.
Meanwhile, quick update: It's been crazy cold here. Below freezing on some nights. And, as my house is made of paper machè, we've cranked up the heat, brought out the extra blankets, and I now wear a house-sweater (which my daughter picked out and is Awesome).
Thank G-d, everyone is in good health and in fairly stable mental equilibrium.
No, I haven't heard back from LaCie yet. I will give them another week and then make a decision as to how to proceed (in other words, will I blow off the drive and start over again, or will I send a letter, via FedEx, to the CEO)...
Ok, now I have to strip the beds, run for groceries, drop off more clothes for GoodWill, learn more about WordPress, clean my office, sweep the front and back yards, take down the rest of the holiday lights, all before Noelle gets home, as we have to go shopping for her best friend's birthday present.
