This is for the folks who don't mind reading subtitles: There's a great Japanese actor/comedian named Beat Takashi. His greatest role is in this very sweet, poignent film entitled Kikujiro. Check out the trailer below - it doesn't have English subtitles, but you definitely get the vibe of the film.
If you dig the trailer, look in your video shop for the English sub-titled version (don't get it dubbed, you'll miss a lot of the sweetness of the kid and the funniness of Takashi)
seen it 10 years ago - get w/ the times man. If you want to see a good old movie see 'Hud'. I just saw hud. it's Great. It won academy awards because it's about cows.
