'Tis The Season For Frank Zappa

Autumn is always the start of Frank Zappa Listening Season for me. He made Halloween special for so many fans, and his birthday is December 21st, so this is a poignant time of year. As such, here's a tune that should be accessible for most of you, a piece entitled St. Etienne - it is essentially a guitar solo, very gentle and soothing, showing that Frank had command of a wide vocabulary of musical emotions. This piece is a departure from his mangle it, strangle it approach to guitar. So, for those of you who hesitate to give Frank a serious listen, try this on for size -

  2. Just got back from vacation, Stu. Love the new look. Comfy!

Also gives me a chance to once again thank you for the Zappa you sent me long ago. That was such a nice gesture on your part!
