Google Hack To Find Music On The 'Net

If you're bored, here's a great little hack to find music on internet servers using Google - Simply go to Google.com or your web browser's Google field, and type (or copy and paste) the following code into the search field:

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(wma|mp3) “artist or song”

Then, replace the text (artist or song) inside the quotes with whatever music you are looking for. I do it every once in a while and occasionally find gold mines of music on people's servers. I don't keep the music, I just use the search to see what else people have on their servers. Sometimes they unwittingly clue me into new artists or genres or whatever.

Geek geek, boop boop.
